Let \(F(\cdot,t):M^n\to\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) be a family of smooth immersions of closed hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) that moves by the mean curvature flow \(\frac{\partial F}{\partial t}(p,t)=-H(p,t)\nu(p,t)\), \(0\leq t<T\). The authors prove that, if the second fundamental form is uniformly bounded from below and there exists a space-time integral bound for the mean curvature, then the flow can be extended past time \(T\). The proof is based on a blow-up argument using the Moser iteration technique.
