The authors continue their studies [J. Convex Anal. 17, No. 2, 659--671 (2010; Zbl 1207.52006)] of similarities and differences between convex and starshaped sets. Several new results are shown, providing characterizations of starshapedness, and describing a starshaped set and its kernel by means of cones included in its complement. The paper ends with a summary, in the form of a table, of the discovered properties about starshaped sets, comparing them with the corresponding results for convex sets
