Linear, continuous-time, finite-dimensional control systems with constant coefficients are considered. It is generally assumed that the control values are in a given compact set, and the control functions are measurable in a given finite time interval. Moreover, a part of the control system is singularly perturbed. The main purpose of the paper is to present an asymptotic estimate for reachable sets, using the concept of the support function for reachable set. Asymptotic properties of a reachable set are formulated and proved taking into account the slow and fast scales of the system. The paper contains an appendix on stable singularly perturbed systems and a simple example which illustrates the theoretical considerations. Moreover, many remarks and comments on reachable sets for linear control systems are presented. Finally, it should be pointed out, that similar problems have been considered in the paper [\textit{P. V. Kokotovich}, Singular perturbation techniques in control theory, SIAM Review 6, No.~4, 501--550 (1984)].
