The authors generalize the theory to solve Birkhoff interpolation problems. They give two algorithms to compute the basis of minimal interpolation space. They introduce these algorithms to compute the minimal interpolation monomial basis and the lower interpolation monomial basis, respectively. They get the Newton and Lagrange interpolation basis, so that the interpolation polynomial can be derived directly.
