The Dirichlet boundary value problem for Pucci extremal equations with superlinear growth in \(Du\) and unbounded coefficients of the form are considered: \(\mathcal{P}^{\pm}(D^2u) \pm \gamma(x) |D(x)| \pm \mu(x) |Du|^m = f(x)\) in \(\Omega\), \(u = \phi\) on \(\partial \Omega\), where \(\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^n\) is a bounded domain with \(C^{1,1}\) boundary, \(\mu \in L^q(\Omega)\), \(\gamma \in L^{q_1}(\Omega)\), \(f \in L^p(\Omega)\), \(m > 1\), \(p_0 < p \leq q_1\), \(q_1 > n\), and \(P^{\pm}\) is the Pucci extremal operators, \(p_0\) is the constant which gives the range of exponents for which an Aleksandrov-Bakelman-Pucci type maximum principle holds for the above equation. The existence of strong solutions is proved through the standard Schauder fixed point theorem and a global \(W^{2,p}\) estimates for solutions of fully nonlinear equations. This result is applied to establish the weak Harnack inequality for \(L^p\)-viscosity supersolutions of fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic PDEs with superlinear growth terms with respect to \(Du\).
