In this paper, the authors consider a general variational inequality problem defined on a set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in the setting of Hilbert spaces. They propose two hybrid steepest-descent algorithms to compute the approximate solutions of the considered problem. The convergence of iterative seuquences generated by the proposed algorithms is studied. An application of the results of this paper to constrained generalized pseudo-inverse problem is also given.
