Let \(X\) be a real Banach space, \(L(X)\) the space of all linear continuous operators from \(X\) to \(X\), endowed with its sup norm, let \(\Xi\subseteq L(X)\) and let \(F:X\rightrightarrows X\), given by \(F(x)=\{Ax \mid A\in \Xi\}\) for each \(x\in X\). The authors show that, if \(\Xi\) is relatively compact in \(L(X)\) and contains mutually commuting operators, then \(F\) is exponentiable, in the sense that the Painlevé-Kuratowski limit \[ [\exp F](x)=\lim_{N\to \infty}\left(I+\frac{1}{N}F\right)N(x) \] exists for all \(x\in X\), and \([\exp F](x)=\{e^Ax;\;S\in \text{ clco}\,(\Xi)\}\). By using the properties of the semigroup \(\{S_F(t)\}_{t\geq 0}\) defined by \(S_F(t)x=[\exp F](x)\), they deduce as a direct consequence an exponential type formula for the reachable set associated with a differential inclusion \(z'\in F(z)\).
