This paper is concerned with certain closed model structures on the category of based topological spaces. The weak equivalences are the maps inducing isomorphisms in homotopy groups with certain families of torsion coefficients. For each integer \(n>1\) and for each multiplicatively closed set of integers \(S\), two structures are considered. In the first structure, the homotopy category is equivalent to the category of \((n-1)\)-connected CW complexes with \(S\)-torsion homotopy groups. The second structure is similar, except that one also requires the \(n\)th homotopy group to be divisible. There are colocalisation maps with good universal properties. If \(S\)~is generated by a set of primes, then the homotopy category for the first structure is equivalent to a product over the primes in the generating set. If \(S\)~is generated by a finite set of primes, then the homotopy category for the second structure is equivalent to the homotopy category of \(n\)-connected Ext-\(S\)-complete CW complexes, and there is also a similar result for the first structure.
