The paper is concerned with periodic solutions for differential inclusions in \(\mathbb R^n\) of the form \[ x' \in F(t,x),\quad x(0)=x(a), \quad a>0. \] Using the notation of nonsmooth, locally Lipschitz generalized guiding function, the existence of periodic solutions of the above problem is obtained, provided that the set-valued map \(F\) is lower semicontinuous but not necessarily convex-valued. Several versions of this result are established under some alternative technical assumptions on \(F\). In the case when \(F\) is convex-valued and upper semicontinuous, similar results are proved under related assumptions on the guiding function. These results extend the single-valued results of \textit{J. Mawhin} [Topological degree methods in nonlinear boundary value problems. Regional Conference Series in Mathematics. No. 40. R. I.: The American Mathematical Society (AMS) (1979; Zbl 0414.34025), Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 8, No. 1, 39--54 (2002; Zbl 1087.34518)] and the multivalued results by \textit{F. S. De Blasi, L. Górniewicz} and \textit{G. Pianigiani} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 37, No.2(A), 217--245 (1999; Zbl 0936.34009)], where either the guiding function is \(C^1\) or the conditions on \(F\) are more restrictive.
