    The authors consider the supercritical elliptic problem \[ -\Delta u=\lambda e^u \] where \(\lambda>0\), in an exterior domain \(\Omega=\mathbb R^N \setminus {\mathcal D}\) under zero Dirichlet condition, where \({\mathcal D}\) is a smooth and bounded domain in \(\mathbb R^N\), with \(N\geq 3\). In a celebrated paper by Veron and Matano, it was considered the case of \({\mathcal D}\) equal to the unitary ball. In this paper, the authors consider a more general domain and, by using new techniques, they are able to prove that, for \(\lambda\) small, this problem admits infinitely many regular solutions.
