The goal of this well written paper is to prove an Atiyah-Bott-Lefschetz theorem for an elliptic complex of cone operators over a compact manifold with conical singularities, \(X\), by using the associated heat kernel. The complex under study is associated to a map \(f:X\rightarrow X\) that fixes all the singular points of \(X\), and all the points that are left fixed are simple ones. If \(q\in X\) is a fixed conical point then, in a neighborhood diffeomorphic to the truncated cone \(C_2(L_q)\), where \(L_q\) is the link relative to \(q\), the map \(f\) is of the form \(f(r,p)=(rA(r,p),B(r,p))\), \(0\leq r <2\), and \(p\in L_q.\) Under further assumptions which imply that \(A\) and \(B\) do not depend on \(r\), the author is able to give explicit formulas for the contribution given by the singular points to the Lefschetz numbers associated to the object under study.
