On embeddings of modular curves in projective spaces (Q2436052)

The author studies some new applications of the cuspidal modular forms constructed by himself earlier [Ramanujan J. 27, No. 2, 181--208 (2012; Zbl 1267.11040)]. Let \(m\geqslant3\) be an integer, \(\Gamma\) be a Fuchsian group of the first kind of the weight \(m\) and \(S_m (\Gamma)\) be the space of the forms. The paper studies special holomorphic map and proves that under definite conditions the map is an embedding into certain projective space. It is also studied corresponding divisors attached to the map, the image of the map is constructed, which is irreducible smooth projective curve of definite degree. The author also studies the properties of Wronskian for any system of forms in \(S_m (\Gamma)\) and constructs the base of \(S_m (\Gamma)\) and explicit embeddings into certain projective spaces.
