The author studies some aspects of the behavior of the Carleson operator \(T:\mathcal{ C}^\infty(\mathbb T)\rightarrow \mathcal{ D}'(\mathbb T)\), defined as \[ Tf(x)=\sup_{N\in\mathbb N}\bigg|\int_{\mathbb T}e^{iN(x-y)}\cot(x-y)f(y)\,dy\bigg|. \] In particular, he constructs a Calderón-Zygmund type decomposition of \(T\) and obtains some known results regarding the problem of the largest rearrangement invariant space with almost everywhere convergent Fourier series, avoiding the use of extrapolation techniques. The main result of this work is a new tile decomposition (Theorem 1.1), which is an adaptation of the one preCarleson's theoremviously introduced by the author for proving the \(L^p\) boundedness (\(1<p<\infty\)) of the polynomial Carleson operator [\textit{V. Lie}, ``The polynomial Carleson operator'', Preprint (2011), \url{arXiv:1105.4504}].
