There are several definitions of higher homotopy commutativity of multiplications of topological monoids. The first one was introduced by Sugawara to show that if the multiplication of a topological monoid \(X\) satisfies the higher homotopy commutativity of infinite level, then the classifying space of \(X\) is an \(H\)-space. Later, Williams gave a weaker version, and then Hemmi-Kawamoto introduced another type by using polytopes called resultohedra as the parameter spaces. The resultohedra include simplices as special cases, and we can restrict the parameter spaces of Hemmi-Kawamoto's definition on the simplices to define another higher homotopy commutativity. The author calls a topological monoid satisfying this higher homotopy commutativity of \(n\)-th level a \(C(n)\)-space. Now, the Williams' definition is generalized by Hemmi-Kawamoto to the ones on \(A_n\)-spaces, \(H\)-spaces with higher homotopy associative multiplications. The polytopes they used as the parameter spaces are called permuto-associahedra. \(A_n\)-spaces with multiplications with higher homotopy commutativity of this type of \(n\)-th level are called \(AC_n\)-spaces. In the paper under review, the author first generalizes the definition of \(C(n)\)-space to the one on \(A_n\)-spaces called \(B_n\)-spaces. The parameter spaces used for the definition are cyclohedra. Now, it is shown that permutohedra are decomposed as products of simplices. The author shows a similar fact that permuto-associahedra are decomposed as products of cyclohedra and lower dimensional permuto-associahedra. By using this decomposition, the author shows that \(B_n\)-spaces are \(AC_n\)-spaces.
