The author obtained order-sharp estimates of the best orthogonal trigonometric approximations of the Nikol'skii-Besov classes \(B_{p,\theta}^r\) of periodic functions of several variables in the space \(L_q\), and especially obtained the order of the approximations by the multiple trigonometric sum \(S_n(f)(x)=\sum_{|k_j|<2^n,j=1,\cdots,d}\hat{f}(k)e^{i(k,x)}\) in \(B_{p,\theta}^r\). Also the author obtained the orders of the best approximations of functions of \(2d\) variables of the form \(g(x,y)=f(x-y),\;x,y\in{\mathbf T}^d=\Pi_{j=1}^d[-\pi,\pi],\;f(x)\in B_{p,\theta}^r,\) by linear combinations of products of functions of \(d\) variables.
