For a compact topological group \(G\), the Witten zeta function is defined as: \[ \zeta^W_G(s):=\sum_{\rho \in \widehat G}\deg(\rho)^{-s} \] where \(\widehat G\) is the unitary dual of \(G\), i.e., the set of equivalence classes of irreducible unitary representations of \(G\). If \(g_1, \dots, g_r \in G\), the Witten \(L\)-function is defined as: \[ \zeta_G^W(s; g_1, \dots, g_r):= \sum_{\rho \in \widehat G}\frac{\mathrm{trace}(\rho(g_1))}{\deg(\rho)} \cdots \frac{\mathrm{trace}(\rho(g_r))}{\deg(\rho)} \deg(\rho)^{-s} \] The paper contains six theorems concerning the values of the Witten \(L\)-functions when \(G=\mathrm{SU}(2)\) and \(G=\mathrm{SU}(3)\). Some of these results: 1. \(\zeta_{\mathrm{SU}(2)}^W(s; g_1, \dots, g_r)\) can be continued analytically for \(s\in \mathbb C\) to a meromorphic function. 2. \(\zeta_{\mathrm{SU}(2)}^W(m; g_1, \dots, g_r) = 0\), for all negative integers \(m \leq -r\). 3. \(\zeta_{\mathrm{SU}3)}^W(s; g)\) can be continued analytically for \(s\in \mathbb C\) to a meromorphic function. 4. \(\zeta_{\mathrm{SU}(3)}^W(m; g) = 0\), for all negative integers \(m\).
