In this article, the author proves the existence of a continuous linear operator \(T\) on the nuclear Fréchet space of rapidly decreasing sequences \[ s=\big\{x=(x_j)_{j\in\mathbb{N}_0} \in\mathbb{K}^{\mathbb{N}_0}:|x|_N:=\sum_{j=0}^\infty (1+j)^N |x_j|<\infty\text{ for all } N\in\mathbb{N}\} \] such that, for every nonzero \(x\in s\), the orbit \(\{T^n x:n\in\mathbb{N}\}\) is dense in \(s\), i.e., every \(0\neq x\in s\) is hypercyclic for \(T\). Thus, \(T\) admits no nontrivial closed invariant subset. The construction of the operator is inspired by the work of \textit{C. J. Read} [Isr. J. Math. 63, No. 1, 1--40 (1988; Zbl 0782.47002)] who constructed an operator with the same property on Banach spaces of the form \(\ell_1\oplus W\), where \(W\) is a separable Banach space. It should be noted that many spaces occurring in analysis are topologically isomorphic to \(s\), including the Schwartz space \(\mathcal{S}(\mathbb{R}^d)\) of smooth functions decreasing rapidly at infinity, the space \(C^\infty_{2\pi}(\mathbb{R})\) of smooth periodic functions, the space \(C^\infty[0,1]\), the space of smooth functions \(C^\infty(K)\) on a compact \(C^\infty\)-manifold \(K\), the space \(\mathcal{D}(K)\) of smooth functions with support contained in a compact \(K\subset\mathbb{R}^d\) with nonempty interior, and the space of entire Dirichlet series \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty a_n n^{z_1+\ldots+z_d}\) in \(\mathbb{C}^d\). Hence, the author's result extends naturally to all these spaces.
