In this interesting paper, the author pursues his ideas of formulating tensor calculus in terms of graphs in view of expressing Bergman kernel aysmptotics for various settings of complex geometry. The leitmotiv is that each vertex of this graph corresponds to partial derivatives of the underlying Kähler metric. Firstly, there exists from the work of K. Hirachi, G. Komatsu, N. Nakazawa and others a Bergman kernel expansion over a bounded strictly pseudoconvex complete Reinhardt domain, when one is close to the boundary. Using the work of M. Englis, the author proves a graph-theoretic formula for this expansion which is valid in any dimension and can be precise as required. This formula is given as an explicit summation over strongly connected graphs. Next, it is well known that for Kähler metrics \(g_{i\bar j}\), any partial derivative of the metric or curvature tensors coincides with a canonical tensor, like for instance to the derivative \(g_{i\bar j k \bar l}\) corresponds the curvature tensor \(-R_{i\bar j k \bar l}\) using normal coordinates. The main result of the paper is a set of formulae for computing partial derivatives of Kähler metrics as summation over rooted trees with external legs encoding covariant derivatives of curvature tensors in a canonical way. For instance, it is computed this way the tensor associated to \(g_{a_1\bar b_1 a_2 \bar b_2 a_3 ... a_k \bar b_3 ... \bar b_m}\) for any \(k,m\geq 2\). Explicit examples are provided, for, e.g., the first 2 covariant derivatives of \(R_{i\bar j k \bar l}\). A striking application of these results is given, building on the author's previous publications. It is well known that the Bergman distorsion function \(\rho_k\) of a polarized manifold \((M,L)\) of complex dimension \(n\) enjoys the following asymptotic expansion \[ \rho_k = a_0 k^n + a_1 k^{n-1} + a_2 k^{n-2} + a_3k^{n-3}+ \ldots, \] where the \(a_i\) are polynomial expressions of the metric (and its covariant derivatives) coming from the hermitian ample line bundle \(L\), for \(k>>0\). The author gives in 4 pages the exact expression for the fourth term of this asymptotic, i.e., \(a_3\) (which involves 12 different curvature terms). This is, as far as we know, the most efficient way to do the computation of any term of the expansion.
