This monograph constitutes a bridge between control and circuits theories and as such deserves for attention. The book starts from the brief reminder of linear algebra, functions, norms and basics of linear system Theory, as ,e.g., stability or the state-space concept. Next basics of two-ports circuits and linear fractional transformations are provided. In the following scattering description with variations followed by coprime factorizations are discussed in details. This introduction having an important value consumes the half of the book volume. The rest contains the application to control, i.e. Riccati equations, stabilization and \(H_2\) and \(H_\infty\) optimal control. The book finishes with so called design examples. The book is interesting for researchers and students who extends their knowledge on various control approaches but fail from that they have not listen a good modern circuit course. The book is rather easy to follow, contains many examples, but rather of theoretical nature. This includes also the last chapter on design examples. In fact, no at all industrial design examples are considered, also the advantages of the proposed approaches are not clearly stated. Anyway, the book is worth to read.
