This article is one of a series of articles by various authors devoted to extensions of the classical \textit{A. Denjoy}'s theorem [J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 11, 333--375 (1932; JFM 58.1124.04)] about circle diffeomorphisms with irrational rotation number. In this article, the authors consider a wider class of circle homeomorphisms with break points. The notations and definitions used are: 1) \(\mathrm{BP}(f)\) is the set of break points of \(f\). 2) \(\sigma_f (b):= Df_- (b)/Df_+ (b)\) is the jump ratio of \(f\) at the break point \(b\). 3) (KO) is the generalized conditions of Katznelson-Ornstein for a circle homeomorphism \(f\) with finite number of break points, which mean that \(\log Df\) is absolutely continuous on each continuity interval of \(Df\) and \(D \log Df \in L^p\) for some \(p>1\). The main result of the article is the following. Theorem 1.5. Let \(f_i, i=1, 2\) be piecewise smooth \(C^1\) circle homeomorphisms with two break points \(a_i ,b_i\). Assume that 1) the rotation numbers \(\rho (f_i)\) of \(f_i , i=1, 2\) are irrational of bounded type and coincide; 2) \(\sigma_{f_1} (a_1) \sigma_{f_1} (b_1)=\sigma_{f_2} (a_2) \sigma_{f_2} (b_2)\); 3) \(\sigma_{f_1} (a_1) \neq \sigma_{f_2} (b)\) for all \(b \in \mathrm{BP}(f_2)\); 4) the break points of \(f_1\) and \(f_2\), do not lie on the same orbit; 5) \(f_1\) and \(f_2\) satisfy (KO) conditions for same \(p>1\). Then the map \(h\) conjugating \(f_1\) and \(f_2\) is a singular function.
