Optimal symmetric Tardos traitor tracing schemes (Q2439747)

The authors consider important problems related to watermarking and fingerprinting. They use Tardos traitor tracing schemes to improve the fingerprinting process. First, the authors present the problem and notations in general. Next, they present two other schemes used in their construction. Finally, they manage to combine these two schemes to produce a new one with improved performance. The result are four times shorter codes and asymptotically optimal codelength for Tardos' distribution function. Hence, in the reviewer's opinion, this is a paper with important results that deserves to be read.
