One considers generalized Gibbs systems defined on the lattice \(Z^{d}\) with a potential energy in the form of a measurable function expressed by means of the one-particle external potential one the one hand, and the two-particle complex-valued potential, on the other hand. The main purpose of the paper is to provide a new simplified approach to the thermodynamic limit of this correlation function, which involves the convergence of the high-temperature polymer expansion of the latter.
