    The authors consider weighted composition operators defined by \(W_{h,\phi}(f)(z)= h(z) f(\phi(z))\), where \(\phi\) and \(h\) are holomorphic on the unit ball \(\mathbb B\) of \(\mathbb C^n\) and \(\phi(\mathbb B)\subset \mathbb B\) and extend to several variables the result by \textit{E. A. Gallardo-Gutiérrez} and \textit{J. R. Partington} [J. Funct. Anal. 258, No. 11, 3593--3603 (2010; Zbl 1193.47031); corrigendum ibid. 259, No. 10, 2757--2758 (2010; Zbl 1197.47038)] showing that any two of the following conditions imply the third: (a) \(h\in \mathrm{BMOA}\), (b) \(W_{h,\phi}\) is bounded on \(H^2\) and (c) \(\sup_{\eta\in \mathbb S} \frac{\mu_1(S(\eta,t)}{\nu(S(\eta,t))}=O(t)\), where \(\mu_1(E)=\int_{\phi^{-1}(E)} |h(z)|^2(1-|z|^2)d\nu(z)\) and \(S(\eta, t)=\{z: |1-\langle z,\eta\rangle |<t\}\). The same result holds when replacing in these conditions BMOA with VMOA, bounded with compact and \(O(t)\) with \(o(t)\).
