Classification of invariant AHS-structures on semisimple locally symmetric spaces (Q2440522)

The author reviews basic facts concerning a functorial construction of invariant geometric structures and its application to symmetric spaces, with particular attention to almost Hermitian symmetric (AHS) structures. Indeed, AHS structures constitute a class of geometric structures, which can be described as 1-graded parabolic geometries, and include projective, conformal and other interesting geometries. The author provides a full classification of AHS structures on semisimple locally symmetric spaces.
