In the present paper, the authors consider the reducible property and unitary equivalence problem of the multiplication operator on Dirichlet space with the symbol function being a finite Blaschke product. Let \(\phi\) be a a finite Blaschke product and \(M_{\phi}\) be a multiplication operator on Dirichlet space. The following main result is proved. \(M_{\phi}\) is reducible if and only if \(\phi\) is equivalent to some \(z^{N}\), \(N\in {\mathbb{N}}\), i.e., there exists a Möbius transformation \(\psi\) such that \(\phi=\psi\circ z^N\). And they also prove that \(M_{\phi}\) is unitarily equivalent to \(\bigoplus\limits^n M_z\) on Dirichlet space if and only if \(\phi=\lambda z^N\), where \(\lambda\) is a fixed complex number.
