This paper studies a spectral problem for self-adjoint extensions using some tools from boundary triplets. The authors calculate explicitly the spectral projections in the form of operatorvalued integrals for a class of symmetric operators having Weyl functions of a particular type. Applications to differential operators on metric graphs are discussed.
