    This paper exhibits more than a dozen new identities, involving the Hurwitz and Riemann zeta functions, the Gamma function, the Dirichlet \(L\)-functions and the Dirichlet eta function. The start point is a sequence of polynomials \(\alpha_k(s)\) which are defined for \(s \in \mathbb C\) as the Taylor coefficients in the expansion \[ \left(\frac{-\log(1-t)}{t}\right)^{t-1} = \sum_{k=0}^{\infty} \alpha_k(s)t^k, \qquad| t | < 1. \] Some of these identities are listed below. \[ \Gamma(s) = \omega^s \Gamma(\omega) \sum_{k=0}^\infty \frac{\alpha_k(s)\Gamma(s+k)}{\Gamma(s+k+\omega)}, \qquad \text{Re}(\omega) > 0, \] \[ \zeta(s, a) = \frac{1}{\Gamma(s)}\sum_{k=0}^\infty \alpha_k(s)\frac{\Gamma(s+k-1)\Gamma(a)}{\Gamma(s+k+a-1)}, \qquad a>0, \] \[ \eta(s+s_0) = \frac{1}{\Gamma(s_0+1)}\sum_{m=0}^\infty (m+1)\left(\int_0^\infty \frac{x^{s_0}\exp(-x(m+1))}{(1+\exp(-x))^{m+2}}\,dx\right) \] \[ = \sum_{j=0}^m\frac{(-1)^j{m\choose j} }{(j+1)^s}, \qquad\text{Re}(s_0) > -1. \] Besides these, a summation formula is derived and used to generalize a formula of Hasse involving the Dirichlet eta function and the Riemann zeta function.
