This paper deals with the Minkowski measure of asymmetry \(as_\infty\) for convex bodies in \(\mathbb R^n\). It is known that if \(K\) is a convex body of constant width, then the following estimates hold true \[ 1\leq as_\infty(K)\leq \frac{n+\sqrt{2n(n+1)}}{n+2}. \] Moreover, equality holds on the left-hand side if and only if \(K\) is an Euclidean ball, whereas equality holds on the right-hand side if and only if \(K\) is a completion of a regular simplex, (cf. [\textit{H. Jin} and \textit{Q. Guo}, Commun. Math. Res. 26, No. 2, 176--182 (2010; Zbl 1240.52003); Geom. Dedicata 164, 227--229 (2013; Zbl 1269.52009)]). In the paper under review, the following stability results concerning the mentioned estimates are proved. Theorem 1. Let \(K\) be a convex domain of constant width \(1\) in \(\mathbb R^2\). For \(0\leq\varepsilon\leq \frac{\sqrt{3}-1}{2}\), if \(as_\infty (K) \geq \frac{\sqrt{3}-1}{2} - \varepsilon\), then there exists a Reuleaux triangle \(R_\Delta\) with width \(1\) such that the Hausdorff distance between \(K\) and \(R_\Delta\) satisfies \(\delta (K, R_\Delta)\leq C\varepsilon\), where \(C\) is a universal constant. Theorem 2. Let \(K\) be a convex body of constant width \(1\) in \(\mathbb R^n\). For sufficiently small \(\varepsilon\geq 0\), if \(as_\infty (K) \leq 1+\varepsilon\), then there exists an Euclidean ball \(B\) with radius \(\frac{1}{2}\) such that the Hausdorff distance between \(K\) and \(B\) satisfies \(\delta (K, B)\leq \frac{1}{4}\varepsilon\).
