This paper is a complement to the articles [\textit{I. Singer}, Linear Algebra Appl. 433, No. 11-12, 2139-2146 (2010; Zbl 1211.06010)] and [\textit{I. Singer} and \textit{V. Nitica}, Linear Algebra Appl. 437, No. 10, 2471-2488 (2012; Zbl 1284.06048)]. In this new paper the authors adjoin an outside ``greatest element'' to the \(b\)-complete idempotent semifield \(\mathcal K\) over which the \(b\)-complete idempotent semimodule \(X\) is defined, and extend the semifield operations to the so enlarged set \(\overline{\mathcal K}\). In this new setting, they give characterizations of topical and anti-topical functions \(f\colon X\to\overline{\mathcal K}\) and present a Fenchel-Moreau conjugation scheme for such functions, as well as a related notion of polarity for subsets of \(X\). A concept of support set of a function \(f\colon X\to\overline{\mathcal K}\) with respect to a set of suitably defined elementary topical functions is also introduced and studied.
