The work analyses the existence and stability of stationary solutions for the system of two PDE, which simulates the dynamics of granuloma: the reaction-convection-diffusion with the bilinear compartmental model for the reaction between populations of macrophages and bacteria. The main part of the work is devoted to the proof of an existence of the radially symmetric steady state solution and to the analysis of its stability. It has been found \(R_*=j_0/\lambda^{1/2}\) as the upper limit of the radius providing such an existence (here \(j_0\) is the smallest zero of the Bessel function \(J_0\) and \(\lambda\) is the bacteria proliferation rate). This solution is unstable for the mode 0 of perturbations but stable for modes 2 and larger. The last part of the article discusses angle-dependent full solutions.
