Let \(P\) be a polynomial and \(P'\) its derivative. \(\alpha \) is a critical point of \(P\) if \(P'\left( \alpha \right) =0\). In the paper under review, the authors study a family of polynomials \(P\) with only one zero lying outside the closed unit disk in the complex plane \(\mathbb C\) and obtain some criteria for \(P\) to have exactly one critical point outside the closed unit disk. The paper might be more impressive with the insertion of some relevant examples.
