The notion of asymptotic almost periodicity, introduced by \textit{M. Fréchet} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris 213, 520--522 (1941; Zbl 0026.22102; JFM 67.0231.01); Rev. Sci. 79, 341--354 (1941; Zbl 0061.16301; JFM 67.1010.03)], is extended to functions with values in a general topological vector space \(E\) which need not necessarily be locally convex. The space of asymptotic almost periodic functions \(f: \mathbb{R}_+ \to E\) is denoted by \(AAP(\mathbb{R}_+,E)\). The authors extend the main properties of Fréchet asymptotic almost periodic functions \(AAP(\mathbb{R}_+,\mathbb{R}^n)\) to the case \(f\in AAP(\mathbb{R}_+,E)\).
