Summary: This paper is devoted to investigating the eigenvalue problems of a class of nonlinear impulsive singular boundary value problems in Banach spaces: \[ \mu x''+f(t,x)=0,\quad t\in(0,1),\quad t\neq t_i;\quad \Delta x|_{t=t_i}=\alpha_i x(t_i - 0),\quad i=1,2,\dots,k; \] \[ ax(0)-bx'(0)=\theta;\quad cx(1)+dx'(1)=\theta, \] where \(\theta\) denotes the zero element of a Banach space, \(\Delta x|_{t=t_i}=x(t_i +0)-x(t_i -0)\), \(\alpha_i > -1\), \(a,b,c,d \in \mathbb R^+\), \(\gamma = ac + ad +bc > 0\), \(\mu\) is a parameter, and \(f(t,x)\) may be singular at \(t=0,1\) and \(x=\theta\). The arguments are mainly based upon the theory of fixed point index, measure of noncompactness, and the special cone, which is constructed to overcome the singularity.
