Let \(E_{r,s}\) be the classical regular pseudo-Euclidean \(n\)-space, where \(n = r+s\), with quadratic form of signature \((r,s)\), and \(\mathrm{Cl}_{r,s}\) its corresponding real Clifford algebra. In earlier papers the authors constructed real matrix subalgebras \(L_{0,n}\) of \(M_{2^n}\) for each natural number \(n\) and proved that \(L_{0,n}\) is isomorphic to \(\mathrm{Cl}_{0,n}\). This approach is totally different from that used by \textit{C. P. Poole jun.} and \textit{H. A. Farach} [Found. Phys. 12, 719--738 (1982; \url{doi:10.1007/BF00729808})]. The following question arises naturally: can one construct subalgebras \(L{r,s}\) of \(M_{2^n}\) isomorphic to \(\mathrm{Cl}_{r,s}\) for all nonnegative \(r,s\)? In this paper the authors show how to obtain such \(L_{r,s}\) from \(L_{0,n}\) for \(2\leq n\leq3\). The authors also construct a particular subalgebra of \(M_4(C)\) and another of \(M_2(H)\), both isomorphic to \(\mathrm{Cl}_{0,3}\), and investigate some algebraic properties of these.
