The authors give some results on the Riemann-Liouville fractional calculus. Thus they provide definitions of (partial) fractional integral (derivative) (Definitions 1.1 and 1.2). Then the authors focus their study on \(\mathcal{E}=0\), the fractional partial differential equation, such that \(\mathcal{E}\) is a polynomial involving a finite number of fractional derivatives. Then the authors define a continuous symmetry group for \(\mathcal{E}=0\), denoted by \(G\). Consequently, they protract \(\mathbf{v}=(\xi_1,\xi_2,\varphi)\), a vector field spanning \(G\), to \(\text{pr}^{(\mathcal{E})}\mathbf v\) given in terms of \(\mathbf{v}\), \(\varphi\) and its fractional derivatives. Next, the authors state their first result on describing explicitly the coefficients of \(\text{pr}^{(\mathcal{E})}\mathbf v\) (Theorem 2.1). By maintaining the same assumptions as in the previous theorem, the authors state their second result that \(\mathbf{v}\) spans a Lie symmetry for \(\mathcal{E}=0\), whenever \(\text{pr}^{(\mathcal{E})}{\mathbf v}(\mathcal{E})_{\big|_{{\mathcal{E}=0}}}=0\). Then they apply this theorem for the case of the fractional Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers equation (Definition 2.1).
