The authors consider the problem \[ -\Delta u =\frac{h(x)}{u^p}\quad \text{ in } \Omega,\quad u=0 \;\text{ on } \partial\Omega \] with \(\Omega\subset \mathbb R^N,\) \(N\geq 3\) and \(h\in L^1(\Omega).\) It is studied the existence of \(H_0^1\)-solution with \(1<p<3\) revealing the role of 3. It is given a local description of the solution set.
