The work deals with a mathematical modeling of populations, which include, additionally to usual female (XX) and male (XY), so called supermale (YY) genotype. Since the mating of a female and a supermale results in male progeny only, this kind of individuals can be a strong control factor of the population stability. Due to this fact, the authors eliminate a logistic type control term from the TYC (Trojan Y Chromosome) model and show that the resulting asymptotic behavior is still essentially a one point steady state attractor, which can correspond also to an extinction.
