A decision making problem faced by an agent with bounded memory who receives a sequence of noisy signals from a partially observable Markov decision process is studied. The signals inform about the state of the world, but the underlying state evolves in a Markovian fashion. The value of bounded memory in this model of a changing world is investigated.
