Let \(R\) be a commutative ring with identity and \(M\) an \(R\)-module. Let \(P\) and \(N\) be submodules of \(M\). We say that \(P\) is a prime submodule if \(P\neq M\) and whenever \(re\in P\) for \(r\in R\) and \(e\in M\), we have \(r\in (P:_RM)\) or \(e\in P\). The prime spectrum of \(M\) is the set of all prime submodules of \(M\) and denoted by \(\text{Spec}_R(M)\). The Zariski topology on \(\text{Spec}_R(M)\) is the topology \(\tau_M\) described by taking the set \[ \{V(N)|\, N\, \text{is a submodule of}\, M\} \] as the set of closed sets of \(\text{Spec}_R(M)\). Also, the quasi-Zariski topology on \(\text{Spec}_R(M)\) is the topology \(\tau^*_M\) described by taking the set \[ \{V^*(N)|\, N\, \text{is a submodule of}\, M\} \] as the set of closed sets of \(\text{Spec}_R(M)\), where \(V^*(N):=\{P\in \text{Spec}_R(M)|\, N\subseteq P\}\). The \(R\)-module \(M\) is called strongly top module (or \(s\)-top module) if \(\tau_M=\tau^*_M\). In this paper, the authors study several properties of this class of modules.
