In the recent past, the authors have successfully investigated the degeneration of mixed Hodge structures via the methods of log geometry. This paper is a sequel in their program. Consider a Hausdorff complex analytic space \(S\) with a normal crossing divisor \(S \setminus S^{\ast}\) and an admissible normal function \(\nu\) over \(S^{\ast}\) with unipotent local monodromies. Here a Hausdorff and relative log manifold \( J \to S\) is constructed such that \(\nu\) extends to a section of this manifold over the boundary. The space \( J\) depends only on the local system \(L\) underlying \(\nu\) and therefore it is a Néron model for \(L\). If \(\nu\) has at most torsion singularities the result was already in [J. Algebr. Geom. 22, No. 4, 671--772 (2013; Zbl 1298.14017)], now the torsion condition has been removed.
