In this paper the authors show that solutions of the Yamabe equation on certain \(n\)-dimensional non-compact Riemannian manifolds, which are bounded and \(L^p\) for \(p=2n/(n-2)\) are also \(L^2\). The main result is the following: {Theorem 3.1.} Let \(c\in[-1,1]\) and let \(u\in L^\infty(\mathbb{M}_c^{n,k})\cap L^{p_n}(\mathbb{M}_c^{n,k})\cap C^2(\mathbb{M}_c^{n,k})\) be a uniformly continuous, positive solution of \[ L^{G_c}u\leq\mu u^{p_n-1}. \] Assume that \[ 2k|c|<n(n-k-2), \] then \(u\in L^2(\mathbb{M}_c^{n,k})\). In this theorem, \(p_n=2n/(n-2)\), and \[ \mathbb{M}_c^{n,k}=\mathbb{H}^{k+1}_c\times \mathbb{S}^{n-k-1} \] endowed with the product metric \(G_c=\eta^{k+1}_c+\rho^{n-k-1}\). Here, \(\mathbb{H}^{k+1}_c\) is the simply connected, connected, complete Riemannian manifold of constant sectional curvature \(-c^2\), its metric is denoted by \(\eta^{n+1}_c\) and \(\mathbb{S}^{n-k-1}\) is the sphere with the standard metric \(\rho^{n-k-1}\), and \(\mu=\mu(\mathbb{M}_c^{n,k})\) is the Yamabe constant. The goal of the present article is to provide a proof of Remark 3.4 of the authors' paper [J. Differ. Geom. 94, No. 1, 1--58 (2013; Zbl 1269.53037)].
