The authors provide and prove a recursive formula for spin Hurwitz numbers, which gives the dimension zero Gromow-Witten invariants of Kähler surfaces with positive geometric genus. The authors prove their results in steps which include a degeneration of spin curves, an invariant defined by the spectral flow of some anti-linear deformation of \(\overline{\partial}\) and some localization for eigenfunctions. These steps are based on the observation that \(\overline{\partial}\) operators on spin bundles \(N_{f}\) extend to a 1-parameter family of real operators \(L_{t}=\overline{\partial}+tR\), where \(R\) is some complex anti-linear bundle map.
