The author proves the equality \(3 \times 3 \) minors and derive Geramita's conjecture as a consequence of a previous study made by \textit{V. Kanev} [J. Math. Sci., New York 94, No. 1, 1114--1125 (1999; Zbl 0936.14035)]. Algebraic Geometry, 9). The main tool that the author uses for the proofs is the reduction to the ``generic'' situation, as explained in the note by the author in the paper [Algebra Number Theory 6, No. 8, 1817--1868 (2012; Zbl 1273.14102)]. Showing the equality of the space of minors for the various catalecticants reduces to the more combinatorial problem of showing that certain representations of a symmetric group coincide. The author establishes some notation from the representation theory and recall some basic facts about calecticant varieties of Veronese varieties. In particular, the author describes the relationship between calecticant matrices and Gorenstein Artin algebras. Then, he sets up the ``generic'' case, introducing certain representations of symmetric groups, which correspond by specialization to ideals of minors of calecticant matrices. Finally, a simple proof of Pucci's result conjecture and an affirmative answer to Geramita's question are given.
