Mapping properties are proved for the restricted class of radial functions of the \(d\)-plane transform, using an Abel-type integral. The end point estimation for the Radon transform of a real hyperbolic space is proved, which illustrates the structure of hyperbolic spaces and the \(d\)-plane transform. In Section 4, the case of a sphere is considered, where a finite measure space is dealt with, which is the exact analogue of the estimation (given by Eqn. (1.4) of the paper) that holds for all radial functions. It may be noted unlike a Euclidean space, on an hyperbolic space there exiss two distinct analogues of hyperplanes.
