Finding solutions to nonlinear evolution equations is an important work in nonlinear science and theoretical physics. Many effective and reliable methods are developed to investigate solutions in the literature. Among different kinds of solutions, solitary wave solution is the most important and attractive one. In this paper, depending on the variational methods, the authors proved the existence of solitary wave solutions to a coupled Schrödinger system with potentials and nonlocal nonlinearities. The result offered readers interesting physical insights and had important scientific contribution.
