In this paper the authors analyze a mass transportation problem described as minimization of the functional \[ \psi_p(u)=\int_\Omega \frac{|\nabla u(x)|^p}{p} \text{d}x - \int_\Omega f(x)u(x) \text{d}x. \] The nonlinear boundary conditions for the equivalent obstacle problem are \( g_1(x) \leq u(x) \leq g_2(x) \) on \( \partial \Omega \), where \(g_1\) and \(g_2\) satisfy the condition \( g_1(x) - g_2(x) \leq |x-y| \) for any \(x,y\in \partial \Omega \). When \(p\to +\infty\) the relevant information on the problem is obtained. The main difference between the considered problem and the classical transport problem are the masses that appear on the boundary and that they are unknown variables. Taking the limit of the minimizers \(u_p(x)\) when \(p\to +\infty\), the authors obtain not only the potential \(u_{\infty}\), but also these masses.
