The authors consider the long-range Hartree equations in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\), \(n\geq2\), \[ i\partial_{t}u= -(1/2)\Delta u +g(u)u, g(u)=k | x | ^{-\gamma} \ast | u | ^{2},\quad k \in \mathbb{R},\, 1/2 < \gamma <1. \] They provide a new proof of existence of the solution of the Cauchy problem at infinity for the Hartree equation. Their result recover the main results from \textit{K. Nakanishi}'s paper [ibid. 3, No. 3, 503--535 (2002; Zbl 1040.35054)]. More precisely, they solve the local Cauchy problem at infinity in time for \(\gamma \in (1/2,1)\) without any regularity loss by elementary energy methods.
