In this interesting paper the author is concerned with certain growth results for functions in the weighted Bloch spaces \({\mathcal B}^\omega(B_d)\), where \(B_d\) denotes the unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^d\), \(d\geq 1\), and \(\omega:(0,1]\to (0,\infty)\) is a gauge function. The main result of this paper is contained in Theorem 1.2, which is an extension to the spaces \({\mathcal B}^\omega(B_d)\) (\(d\geq 1\)) of a well-known result due to \textit{N. G. Makarov} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 51, 369--384 (1985; Zbl 0573.30029)] related to the Bloch space \({\mathcal B}(B_1)\).
