Some extended Lagrange interpolation processes based on the zeros of the generalized Laguerre polynomials are studied. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given such that the convergence of these processes is assured in suitable \(L_{p}\) weighted spaces on \([0,+\infty)\) for \(1<p<+\infty.\)
