In the introduction the author has written that ``the article [J. Algebra 368, 209-230 (2012; Zbl 1275.20067)] by \textit{V. Gould} and \textit{Y. Wang} is the first of three in which we investigate the correspondence between algebraic structures and ordered categories, in the sense of Ehresmann-Schein-Nambooripad\dots. This is the second one.'' The author introduces the notions of weakly \(B\)-orthodox semigroups and admissible morphisms, weakly orthodox categories over bands and orthodox functors. The main result is the following theorem. The category \(\mathcal{WO}\) of weakly \(B\)-orthodox semigroups and admissible morphisms is equivalent to the category \(\mathcal{WOC}\) of weakly orthodox categories over bands and orthodox functors. This theorem generalizes the result by \textit{S. Armstrong} [see J. Algebra 118, No. 1, 205-260 (1988; Zbl 0653.20064)]. In the introduction the author has written ``we can regard the set of idempotents of a regular semigroup as a generalization of a semilattice. This idea is precisely described in the definition of a regular biordered set, introduced by \textit{K. S. S. Nambooripad}'' [see Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 224 (1979; Zbl 0457.20051)]. The author has used Nambooripad triples to generalize the theorem due to Armstrong.
